Church Ministries
1. Children Ministry
– Teaching English to local community every Saturday
– Teaching music to local children (guitar, bass guitar, drum and piano)
– Helping the children in their studies, health, social and spiritual life
– Children church meets every Sunday
2. Prison Ministry
We have started a ministry in the provincial prison. We have 2 groups meeting at the prison.
The first group is called “Faith Zone 5” and has 35-40 people coming regularly.
The second group is called “Faith Zone 2” and has 25 people coming regularly.
Our goals are
1.Leadership development: to train the inmates to serve within the prison to teach others the gospel. The prison has a population of 3500 men
2.Finding employment for the men who are released from prison. Our goal is to see each man have meaningful work and a profession. We are also training them in budgeting and managing their expenses.
3.Helping them with basic living supplies while in prison.
4.Buidling relationships and sharing our faith with the families of the inmates.
5.Outreach to the 3500 inmates who have yet to believe.
6.Witnessing to the prison officials and guards.
7.Weekly worship to GOD .
8. We teach life management skills.
3. SPORTS MINISTRY
Currently, there are many people in Thailand who are very interested in sports, especially football (soccer) . The youth who are not playing sports are often attracted to drugs and other illegal activities. We have other very serious social issues that we are facing and find that sports is an excellent bridge to presenting the truth of Jesus Christ in Thai society.
We are starting football clubs for kids ages:
1. 11-13 years
2. 14-15 years
3. 16-17 years
4. Fun football for all ages.
We are able to witness, build relationships through sports and teach how to live a positive life, how to use time wisely and how to have faith in God.
We also have opportunities to work together with other churches in Thailand in training youth, building foundations in their lives and in sports competitions to the glory of God!
There are many children and their parents who have come to faith in Jesus through the sports ministry of the power church. We have seen their lives improve and God protecting them from many kinds of evil.
Our sports ministry is Monday-Friday 16:30 – 18:30
We are convinced that God will continue to bless this ministry
4. Cell Group Ministry
Our goal is to grow disciples so that they can serve God, are a light in the community and proclaim the gospel
We currently have 4 cell groups
Cell groups are the answer for a society that is losing hope and needs restoration.
We are calling people to faith in God and serve the living God.
In cell groups we worship, pray and encourage each other to follow God and love Him.
5. Leadership Development
We are beginning to see more and more Thai people coming to faith in God. We need to train these new people so that they grow strong in their faith according to the word of God. We want our people to test the truth of God’s word . Matthew 28:19-20, Ephesians 4:11-16
Therefore, leadership development is one of our most important ministries. Our plan is to have leadership training every 3 months (4 times/year). We also are challenging our leaders to gain experience in ministry by leading in various ministries and then coming back together to report and receive feedback from our pastor.
6. Ministry to Christian Workers
There are many Christian workers in Thailand who work very hard and never receive any support, encouragement or strengthening. They are isolated and do not have anyone to encourage them or support them in ministry. Often they lead groups of new believers who have many problems and are not mature .
Many church leaders lack training and understanding in the word of God. Because of this their vision is small, they lack resources, mentors and even friends. I know they need the right kind of help so that they can grow spiritually and have the spiritual resources to continue to serve in the future. I have a vision for camps and training seminars to restore burnt out workers by spending time in prayer together, in fellowship and in teaching from the word of God.
7. Church Plants
We have opportunities to begin new church plants in all regions of Thailand: the North, the Isaan and the Eastern Seabord. We have many people who have newly believed. We are training leaders and pastors who want to begin new works all over Thailand. We are lacking funds to begin these works.
We also have a vision to reach the nations around us: Burma, Laos, Vietnam, Southern China and Cambodia. There are many people in these countries who are eager to hear the good news of the gospel of Christ Jesus. Thailand is in the middle of all of these nations and is strategically located to spread the gospel.
We know that God has given us this vision and that God is leading people from all of the nations of the earth to work together in God’s work.
This is God’s plan and God’s time. We have God’s power and we live for His glory to see the Kingdom of God spread throughout the earth.
8. Music Ministry
We have a music ministry in which we teach children and teenagers to play instruments. This is an outreach and evangelistic ministry that we use to tell people the gospel. We teach guitar, piano and bass.
